Hardac isn't a startup guessing at what contractors need. We run Gillespie Landscape, and we built Hardac to run it — the quoting, the scheduling, the crew texts, the books. Parts are already live in our own business today, and the impact has been real: it's quietly handling the work that used to eat our nights and weekends.
We're funding it ourselves and building in the open. The one thing we can't do alone is pressure-test it against every kind of company. Gillespie is one shop with one way of working — so to make Hardac great for everyone, we want businesses that run differently building on it alongside us. Different trades, different sizes, different processes and headaches. That range is what makes the product right for the trades, instead of right for just us.
